VIDEO: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Booth Debuts at Star Wars Celebration Chicago

Take an exclusive look at the interactive Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth at Star Wars Celebration Chicago.  

The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth at Star Wars Celebration features one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, first peeks at new merchandise coming to the new land and more.  

There are also special “Share Your Star Wars Story” areas at the booth where visitors have the opportunity to record their personal stories and share what they’re most excited about experiencing at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edgewhen the land opens on May 31 at Disneyland Resort and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Also, be sure to visit the Disney Parks Blog on Saturday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CST as they join the biggest Star Wars fans at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago for “Bringing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Life at Disney Parks.”

DisneyParksLIVE will live stream “Bringing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Life at Disney Parks” from Star Wars Celebration in Chicago on Saturday, April 13 at 11:00am CST.

This panel is dedicated to all things Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and features Chris Beatty, Asa Kalama, Margaret Kerrison and Scott Trowbridge from Walt Disney Imagineering and Doug Chiang and Matt Martin from Lucasfilm.

This livestream is sure to include some exciting updates about the newest land coming to Disneyland park this May and Disney’s Hollywood Studios this August.

Anthony Daniels Announced for Star Wars Celebration Chicago

Anthony Daniels, the legendary actor who brought the goldenrod droid C-3PO to life in every Star Wars saga film so far as well as Rogue One, is headed to Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

Join him on Sunday at 5:15 p.m. as he presents “Droidography” on the Galaxy Stage, an hour of personal stories, hilarious wit, and an unforgettable in-person experience. Expect the unexpected as Daniels has a marvelous time, sometimes at the expense of unsuspecting audience members.

The Creatures, Droids & Aliens of Star Wars

Take a deep dive into the Pinewood Studios-based Star Wars creature shop, where Creative Supervisor Neal Scanlan and team designed and built every alien, beast and droid for this new era of Star Wars movies. Step-by-step, the process of crafting amazing creatures and droids will be explored, from design and sculpting to fabrication, animatronics, painting and puppeteering.

Bringing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Life at Disney Parks

Discover new details and stories about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – the new, fully immersive lands coming to Disneyland Resort in summer 2019 and Walt Disney World Resort in fall 2019. Join team members from Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm as they share stories about what it takes to bring Star Wars to life and how visitors can live their very own Star Wars story. And, there might just be a few surprises, too!

The Galaxy-Wide Premiere of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Join the head of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, and Game Director, Stig Asmussen, along with many special guests, to be the first to learn about this holiday’s highly anticipated action-adventure game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Hear how Respawn and Lucasfilm collaborated on this original Star Wars story, following a young Padawan’s journey in the Dark Times following Order 66. And, of course, we’ll have a few surprises in store.

Hayden Christensen to Join Fans at Star Wars Celebration Chicago

Fans of the Chosen One and the actor who portrayed him in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, will now get the chance to meet Hayden Christensen at Star Wars Celebration Chicago next month.
