Mouse Ears Fans! Take a look at what Disney has unveiled! The new Disney Interchangeable Bow Collection will give you more choices than ever before.
The Mouse Ear headband comes with a black-and-silver polka dot Minnie bow and can be removed and swapped out for other bow styles. You can also center the bow, or wear it to the right or left side, whatever fits your style.
There are 10 interchangeable bow styles available and each one is inspired by a different character from a Disney film, including Alice, Cheshire Cat & The Queen of Hearts (“Alice In Wonderland”), Ariel (“The Little Mermaid”), Aurora & Maleficent (“Sleeping Beauty”), Cinderella (“Cinderella”), Cruella De Vil (“101 Dalmatians”), Jasmine (“Aladdin”), and Yzma (“The Emperor’s New Groove”).
The collection was first revealed at the D23 Expo in July and is now available at D-Living at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort. (The collection is expected to expand to other locations at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts in October).
The phenomenal success of Shanghai Disney Resort’s first year would not be possible without its team of more than 10,000 talented, passionate and committed cast members. In just 14 months of operation, the resort has delivered on its commitment to be an employer of choice in China, and has now been named 2017 China Best Employer, a prestigious recognition from the leading international human resources firm AON Hewitt through its Aon Best Employers Program.
In this year’s survey, which marks AON Hewitt’s 10th study of the Chinese market, Shanghai Disney Resort was singled out for its continuous investment in people, its strong commitment to human resources, as well as for the overall innovation the resort has achieved in the area of human resources.
“We have said from day one here at Shanghai Disney Resort that our goal is not only to provide an unforgettable experience for our guests but to be an employer of choice, recruiting and training diverse talent from across mainland China to deliver Disney’s legendary guest service,” said Philippe Gas, general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. “Our cast members are passionate about our guests and we are passionate about our cast members. Their commitment inspires all of our leaders at Shanghai Disney Resort to ensure the skills and creativity of our cast members are nurtured, creating an exciting and fulfilling career journey they will always cherish.”
Cast members at Shanghai Disney Resort enjoy highly creative and innovative working environments, where they create unforgettable experiences and happy memories for guests. But the resort also prioritizes the health and well-being of its employees, at work and at home. An Employee Assistance Program provides a variety of online and offline channels for cast members to resolve professional and personal challenges, while the popular Be-Well program offers tangible resources that help employees build healthier lifestyles. And cast members are themselves surprised and delighted through “Backstage Magic” appreciation events, initiated by the resort’s leadership in recognition of the cast’s great contributions.
The 2017 China Best Employers award adds to the many recognitions the resort has already received for its industry-leading best practices, including the 2014 Most Popular Award for College Students by Zhaopin.com, the 2015 Most Attractive Employer in Tourism Industry by Universum, the 2015 Top 100 Employer in Hotels and the Mercer Award for 2016–17 China’s Healthiest Company.

Fittingly on National Slinky® Day today, Walt Disney World Resort revealed the first attraction vehicle for Slinky® Dog Dash, a brand-new family coaster coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Slinky® Dog Dash will be among the toy-riffic experiences found in the all-new 11 acre Toy Story Land that opens next summer. It’s all part of a multi-year transformation of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Toy Story Land will invite guests to step into the whimsical world of Pixar Animation Studios’ blockbuster films where playtime stretches longer than a Slinky® Dog. Guests will feel like they’ve shrunk to the size of a toy as they play in Andy’s backyard with their favorite Toy Story pals.
Inspired by the playful dachshund spinoff of Slinky®, the classic American toy, Slinky® Dog Dash will send riders dipping, dodging and dashing around turns and drops that Andy has created to stretch Slinky® and his coils to the max.
Slinky® Dog Dash will be joined in the new land by more beloved Toy Story pals in another fresh-from-the-box themed attraction — Alien Swirling Saucers. This Pizza Planet toy play set is loaded with Aliens circling about in their flying saucers pulling along rocket ships full of Guests.
The new land will also encompass what’s already one of the most popular Walt Disney World attractions – Toy Story Mania!
In 2019, Disney’s Hollywood Studios adds another major expansion when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens. It will give fans the opportunity to live their own Star Wars stories.
