Universal Orlando Resort Announces Concert Line-up for Rock the Universe 2017

 

 

Universal Orlando Resort has announced the concert line-up for this year’s Rock the Universe.  The Christian music festival will take place over two days on September 8 & 9 and include performances from some of today’s hottest Christian artists.  Enjoy a weekend of faith and worship and some of Universal’s headline attractions like Revenge of the Mummy, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and more in-between sets.

Also returning is The Coca-Cola Fan Zone which offers guests a unique experience like nowhere else. Attend autograph sessions with opportunities to interact with your favorite artists. Animal Hospital and Veterinary Treatment Room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Closed for Refurbishment

 

The on-stage Animal Hospital and Veterinary Treatment Room in Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now closed for refurbishment.  When the area re-opens mid-June, it will have several new enhancements.  One of these upgrades will be the addition of 2 new CT scanners which guests will be able to see in use while procedures are taking place.

Actress, comedian, writer, and producer Tina Fey recently visited Walt Disney World Resort on Spring break with her family.  During her visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom on March 24, Tina took a ride on Expedition Everest.  Check out the video below:

Portobello at Disney Springs Closing for Refurbishment Next Month

 

Portobello Country Italian Trattoria at Disney Springs will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment beginning April 23, 2017.  When the restaurant re-opens this fall, it will feature a new family-style menu and Italian craft beers and wine.
