Disney has announced Terralina Crafted Italian, with James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano, will open June 28, 2018 at Disney Springs. The new restaurant is situated along the shores of Lake Buena Vista, was inspired by the lifestyle of Italy’s Lake District, and will offer authentic Italian flavors, spirits, and lakefront views.
According to Disney, Chef Mantuano, former contestant on Top Chef Masters who is internationally respected for his role in defining true Italian cuisine, collaborated with Executive Chef Justin Plank to create the new menu. Showcasing tastes that are both familiar and new, the menu offers traditional Italian dishes – House-made Lasagna and Parmesan Duo with chicken and eggplant – in addition to specialty creations for the table like House-made Porchetta with a spicy-sweet Apple Mostarda and Slow-roasted Beef Short Rib with Honey-Balsamic Glaze. Other favorites include wood-fired pizzas, Bucatini with Clams and, from the grill, Center-cut Pork Chop with Creamy Polenta and Swordfish Peperonatta with roasted peppers.
The Antipasti Tower features a unique visual presentation with a display of cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and house-made pickled vegetables with pecorino truffle potato chips.
Returning favorites from Portobello Country Italian include Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana, hand-tossed pizza, and house-made pastas.
Terralina Crafted Italian will be open daily for lunch and dinner starting June 28 and is located on The Landing at Disney Springs. Terralina is looking to hire about 100 employees for various positions including host, cashier, server, server assistant, food runner, bartender, cook, prep cook and dishwashers. Levy Restaurants will host a job fair Jan. 9-11 from 1-4 p.m. on the third floor of Paddlefish restaurant, also in Disney Springs. On-site interviews will also be held.

According to Disney, an open rotunda will welcome guests with a rustic stone fireplace, a new outdoor patio with a veranda bar that spills out into the Disney Springs promenade, and a two-story glass conservatory that showcases stunning views of Lake Buena Vista, every element of the décor feels fresh and new. There will even be an herb garden outside the front doors, giving a nod to the medley of flavors that are waiting to be discovered inside and the curated collection of family photos and vintage heirlooms that are scattered throughout the space.

According to Disney, a multi-million- dollar makeover is transforming the space in The Landing on the shores of Lake Buena Vista. Inspired by the design and lifestyle of Italy’s Lake District, the new restaurant will be reminiscent of an Italian home, with an open kitchen, dining rooms with eclectic décor and a new veranda bar outside the main entrance.
Chef Mantuano’s authentic Italian cuisine (much of it infused with his signature olive oil imported directly from Italy) will include artisanal pizzas and fresh vegetable dishes fired up in a wood-burning oven. Two new signatures – mussels and a grilled pork chop – will be on the menu, along with favorites from Portobello such as the antipasti platter and signature pastas. “Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames,” said Mantuano.
