First Look at Vampirina Coming to Disney Parks This Weekend

Vampirina (aka “Vee”), that lovable girl vampire from the hit Disney Junior series “Vampirina,” is making her debut this weekend at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts and we have a first look!

Starting today, Vampirina can be found at Disneyland Resort for Halloween Time, meeting fans at Disney California Adventure park and getting ready to make a special appearance in the “Frightfully Fun Parade” during Mickey’s Halloween Party.

Guests can also find Vampirina at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park! During the party, you can dance with Vee and other favorite Disney Junior pals at the all-new Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam. And be sure to catch Vampirina’s official Disney Parks welcome as part of the live stream of Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade on Sunday, September 9, at 9:20 p.m. Eastern/6:20 p.m. Pacific,  on the Disney Parks Blog!

New Dates Announced for ‘Disney After Hours’ at Magic Kingdom Park

Disney has announced additional ‘Disney After Hours’ dates at Magic Kingdom with nights available from December 3 through March 7, 2019.  This popular event allows guests to purchase a special ticket to experience the park from as early as 7pm to 11pm (some nights until 1am) with a limited number of guests.

Attendees can enjoy more than 25 attractions and character greetings with little or no wait.  In addition, you can also take in the park’s nightly “Happily Ever After” fireworks.

New dates and times:

  • 12/3: 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.
  • 12/10: 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.
  • 1/7: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 1/17: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 1/24: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 1/28: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 2/7: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 2/28: 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 2/14: 9 p.m. – 12 a.m.
  • 3/7: 9 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Attractions include:

  • Astro Orbiter
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
  • Disney Princess Greetings at Princess Fairytale Hall
  • Haunted Mansion
  • “it’s a small world”
  • Jungle Cruise

  • Peter Pan’s Flight
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Ice Cream, Popcorn & Select Beverages Included!
In the midst of the laughs and thrills, be sure to chill out with ice cream novelties and select bottled beverages—included in the cost of admission—available at carts stationed throughout the park. In addition, you can also purchase select menu items at Main Street Bakery and select locations throughout the park.

#DisneyParksLive to Stream Boo-to-You Parade on September 9

DisneyParksLIVE will live stream “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade” from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom  on Saturday, September 9, 2018.

In case you aren’t familiar, the Halloween parade offered only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, is a procession of favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, floats inspired by the Disney villains – and even characters from The Haunted Mansion – plus a candy inspired cavalcade finale.

Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom to Begin Serving Breakfast

WDW News Today is reporting The Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom will soon begin serving breakfast!

The article states the sit down breakfast could begin as soon as November and include the following items on the menu:

  • Plaza Breakfast Bounty Platter: Scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, bacon, and a biscuit.
  • Mickey Waffles: Topped with powdered sugar, Mickey sprinkles on a spread of tasty banana pastry served with a side of fruit.
  • Lobster Benedict: Two-poached eggs, lobster with Hollandaise on top of toasted English Muffins served with breakfast potatoes.
  • Create Your Own Omelet: Choice of sausage, bacon, ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes and cheese served with breakfast potatoes.

The Plaza Restaurant serves up family-friendly fare for lunch and dinner and is located on Main Street U.S.A.  You can view their complete menu here.
