‘Dancing With the Stars’ Contenders Visit Disneyland Resort

Last night was Disney Night on “Dancing With the Stars” where the final 10 celebrities performed to songs from Disney films, including classic films “Beauty and the Beast,” “Mulan,” and “The Little Mermaid.”

Several of the dancing couples recently visited the Disneyland Resort for some magical inspiration before the show.  Take a look below!

Evanna Lynch and partner Keo Motsepe met with Rapunzel. They danced to “When Will My Life Begin?” from “Tangled.”

Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and his partner, Jenna Johnson, said hello to Mickey Mouse. They danced to “Zero” from the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming release, “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”

Meanwhile, Milo Mannheim and his partner Witney Carson got some motivation from Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. They danced to “Incredits2” from “The Incredibles 2.”

Digital Release of ‘Incredibles 2’ Now Available

Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2  is now available on Digital and Movies Anywhere.

In Incredibles 2,  which surpassed the $600 million mark at the domestic box office and is the No. 2 animated film ever, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2 is written and directed by Brad Bird (Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) and produced by John Walker (The Incredibles, Tomorrowland) and Nicole Grindle (Sanjay’s Super Team short, Toy Story 3 associate producer).

Disney Night on Dancing with the Stars Airs Tonight on ABC

“Disney Night” – The nine remaining celebrities are putting on their Mickey ears and getting ready to transform into some of their favorite Disney characters and celebrate the magnificence of “Disney Night” on “Dancing with the Stars,” live on MONDAY, OCT. 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The Disney spirit shines as the show opens with a spectacular number, featuring “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” host and Season 25 Mirrorball winner Jordan Fisher singing and dancing with the stars, pros and “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors’” Ariana Greenblatt, Jason Maybaum and the Juniors pros. Jordan returns later in the show to sing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from “Cinderella,” alongside “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors’” Ariana Greenblatt and Jason Maybaum. In addition, there will be a special guest performance by Andrea Bocelli and Mateo Bocelli of the song “Fall on Me” from Disney’s upcoming motion picture, “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.” And hitting the ballroom floor in style throughout the night will be Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. Each couple will perform to songs from Disney films, including Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” and classic films “Beauty and the Beast,” “Mulan,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Tangled,” among others. Each couple will perform a foxtrot, waltz, Charleston, jazz, jive, quickstep, Viennese waltz or contemporary.

Disney Moves ‘Jungle Cruise’ Release Date to Summer 2020

Disney’s Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt has moved the release date to July 24, 2020.  The film was originally slated to hit theaters on October 11, 2019.

Jungle Cruise is a love story based on the beloved Disney riverboat ride and officially wrapped production over the summer.  You can check out the teaser video below:
