Dates Announced for Candlelight Processional at Epcot

Today Disney announced the dates for the 2018 Candlelight Processionals at Epcot.  The popular holiday event returns this year and for the first time, will open for Thanksgiving on November 22 and run through December 30, 2018

The Candlelight Processional, a holiday must-do for many Epcot guests, is a retelling of the traditional Christmas story read by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a massed choir and live orchestra.

Dates Announced For 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

Today Disney announced the dates for the 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.  The popular event will return November 18 – December 30, 2018.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays invites guests to discover holiday cheer throughout the park and across all 11 World Showcase pavilions. Special entertainment, storytellers, seasonal favorites at Holiday Kitchens, and eye-catching holiday decor are all part of the fun. Evenings during this time are topped off with a special holiday presentation of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.”

First Look: Edna Mode from ‘The Incredibles’ Visiting Disney Parks This Summer

This summer, celebrated designer Edna Mode, from Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and the upcoming “Incredibles 2,” will be traveling to both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.

At Walt Disney World Resort, Edna will be appearing at Magic Kingdom Park starting Memorial Day weekend. Kicking off the “Incredible Summer” celebration, guests can visit the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo to party with characters from “The Incredibles,” including the fashionista herself.

Just in time for the opening of “Incredibles 2” in theaters on June 15, celebrated designer Edna Mode is jetting over to greet guests at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort, as part of the first-ever Pixar Fest. The iconic super suit designer, from Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and the upcoming “Incredibles 2,” will continue to grace guests with her presence at Pixar Pier, to celebrate the opening of this newly reimagined land. Guests will discover Edna’s role at the new Incredicoaster, too, beginning June 23, 2018.

Time Changes for Electrical Water Pageant at Walt Disney World Resort

Beginning May 20, the Electrical Water Pageant at Walt Disney World Resort will run on an altered schedule. The new times are below:

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – 8:40pm (previously at 9pm)

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – 8:55pm (previously at 9:15pm)

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge & Copper Creek Villas – 9:35pm

Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Campground – 9:45pm

Disney’s Contemporary Resort & Bay Lake Tower – 10:05pm

This is due to the time change for the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and times will resume back to normal beginning August 19, 2018.

In case you aren’t familiar, the Electrical Water Pageant is a nighttime water parade that takes places on the Seven Seas Lagoon and makes its way around Magic Kingdom and surrounding resorts.  For more information, click here.

Walt Disney World Lost and Found System Now Online

If you lost something or misplaced an item at Walt Disney World, they can help you find it via their new online Lost and Found system.  Details below!

If you lost an item at…

Any Walt Disney World theme park, Disney Springs, Transportation (including busses, monorails and watercraft), ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Disney Water Park:
Walt Disney World Resort uses Chargerback to help track lost and found items. Please fill out a lost item report, available here.

This will allow the Disney team to start looking for your lost item.

Once you fill out the online form you will receive an email notification with your Lost Item claim number. Our team will continue to look for your item and provide you with an email update within 48 hours. We recognize that your item is important to you and will contact you if we believe we have found it or need further information.

Resort Hotels:
Please contact the specific resort Lobby Concierge for assistance.

Disney’s Magical Express:
If the item has been lost for less than 30 minutes, please contact (866) 599-0951. If the item was lost over 30 minutes ago, please contact Mears Transportation Group at (407) 423-5566.
