Well, here’s some unwelcome news for your Wednesday morning. Disney has issued a new policy that has left alot of people disgruntled. Beginning March 21, Walt Disney World Resort will start charging a daily parking fee for its hotel guests. The fee breakdown is as follows:
Deluxe Resorts $25
Moderate Resorts $19
Value Resorts $13
This is only for overnight guests and not for those visiting dining or shopping establishments at the resorts. Disney Vacation Club members will not have to pay this fee if staying at a Deluxe Villa Resort.
Valet parking will also be increasing at Disney Resorts from $25 to $33.
Walt Disney World increased its theme park ticket prices last month with another increase coming later this year. Parking at Walt Disney World theme parks also recently increased from $20 to $22 and preferred parking from $40 to $45, although parking is free at the theme parks for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests.
What do you think of this new parking fee? Let us know in the comments below.
