Minnie Van Service Now at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort

Beginning today, Disney’s Minnie Van Transportation Service will be available at both Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter at Walt Disney World Resort.

In case you aren’t familiar, the Minnie Van Service is a collaboration with Lyft, allowing guests at Walt Disney World to arrange their own private Disney vehicle right from the Lyft app on their smartphone. With Minnie Van Service, Disney cast members will drive you to wherever you want to be at Walt Disney World Resort. This service accommodates up to six guests and provides two versatile car seats so even the tiniest of passengers can travel in style!  The cost is $25 for a one way trip.

To use this service, simply visit the front desk at a participating resort to activate the Minnie Van Service through the Lyft app.

Black Panther Now Appearing at Disneyland Resort

For a limited time, Disneyland Resort guests can welcome the Black Panther at Disney California Adventure Park.  The king of Wakanda will arrive in the Hollywood Backlot area of the park flanked by his Royal Guards, the Dora Milaje.


In case you aren’t familiar with the Marvel Studios’ film, “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and Black Panther — is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk.

Southern California Choirs ‘Celebrate Gospel’ Today at the Disneyland Resort

17 gospel choirs from across Southern California will come together at Disney California Adventure park on Feb. 17 in honor of Black History Month. The performances will take place in Stage 17 from 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., and are included with theme park admission.

“Celebrate Gospel” returning  for its ninth year, welcomes new gospel choirs, returning groups and the uplifting house band “Connected” this year, celebrating diversity and live music. A walkthrough exhibit also will be on display, highlighting the history and rich traditions of gospel music.

Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim from Disney’s ‘ZOMBIES’ Visit Walt Disney World Resort

Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim, stars of the newest Disney Channel original movie, ‘ZOMBIES,’recently visited Walt Disney World Resort. During their visit, the two met Cruella de Vil, sang in the caves on Tom Sawyer’s Island, braved the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park and watched the “Festival of Fantasy” parade.
