A new ice cream scoop shop has been announced for Disneyland Resort called Salt & Straw. The family-run ice cream company is known for its taste-provoking, imaginative ice cream creations, which uniquely capture the spirit of classic Americana. Co-founders and cousins Tyler and Kim Malek plan on opening their newest location at Downtown Disney District soon.
Every ice cream flavor is handmade in small batches using the best local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Special offerings will be available seasonally, showcasing co-founder and head ice cream maker Tyler’s passion for cultivating genuine partnerships with local farmers and artisans.

Today Disney revealed the trains for the new Incredicoaster which is set to make its debut this summer when Pixar Pier opens to guests at Disney California Adventure park.
According to Disney, Imagineers have been putting the final details on the new trains, which will take you on a thrilling race alongside “The Incredibles.”
The Incredicoaster will glide around Pixar Pier on steel tracks that cover a distance of almost 1-1/8 miles—the longest and fastest roller coaster at the Disneyland Resort. The attraction will feature a super combination of character figures, lighting, music and special effects, bringing all the action of “The Incredibles” to life!
Pixar Pier officially opens June 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort.
Actor Luis Ángel Jaramillo, who voiced Miguel in the Latin American release of the Disney•Pixar film Coco, recently visited the Disneyland Resort. During his first visit to Disneyland park, Luis Ángel met up with the famed Mariachi Divas for an impromptu performance!

Disney Channel just announced “Disney Channel’s GO! Summer”, a season of the channel’s most-new ever daily programming schedule with live-action and animated comedy shows. You can read all about here! The centerpiece of the off-channel events is “Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest,” a special day for fans to meet dozens of Disney Channel stars at the Disneyland Resort.
This special event will take place on Saturday, May 12 and create memorable experiences for families by taking the action from the Disney Channel screen into Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park.
At Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest, super-fans will have the opportunity to meet dozens of Disney Channel stars. The festivities will kick off at 11:15 a.m. PST with Disney Channel stars featured in a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A at Disneyland park. The cavalcade will stream live on the Disney Parks Blog. This will be followed by panel discussions and meet and greet opportunities with the stars from 1-5 p.m. PST at Disney California Adventure park.
The celebrity line-up includes stars from Disney Channel series “Andi Mack,” “Raven’s Home,” “Stuck in the Middle,” “Bizaardvark” and “BUNK’D,” as well as stars from Disney Channel Original Movies “ZOMBIES” and “Freaky Friday.”
Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest will also be highlighted by a live “DuckTales” script performance—a first for the Disneyland Resort—by the voice cast stars of “DuckTales.”
Stay tuned for new programming this summer on Disney Channel, with new shows at 9:00 a.m. EST/PST on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. EST/PST on weekends. Disney Channel fans can also now watch all their favorite Disney Channel series and movies on Hulu’s live TV streaming service or its on-demand library.
