Frozen’s loveable snowman, Olaf will make his debut as a balloon in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
“Having an Olaf balloon alongside Mickey, Elmo, and Big Bird is a dream come true and something that, because (the parade’s) so storied and has such a long tradition, I now get to share with my own kids,” said Josh Gad (voice of Olaf).
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on Thursday, November 23 at 9am ET on NBC.
You can also catch Olaf in the new featurette Olaf’s Frozen Adventure which arrives in theaters with Disney/Pixar’s Coco on November 22, 2017.
Mini Babybel®, the creamy, red-wax-wrapped cheese, has been named the Official Snack Cheese of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Disneyland Resort in California and Disney Cruise Line. This announcement kicks off a multi-year strategic alliance between the two family-focused brands.
As part of the alliance, Mini Babybel will be prominently featured at a quick-service window within the new Toy Story Land scheduled to open in 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. Because even toys need a bite or two every now and again, Andy has taken a vintage Woody-themed lunch box and propped it open with a thermos to turn it into Woody’s Lunch Box that dishes out all sorts of tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats. He completed the area with a classic book and toys strewn about, along with items from his lunch box.
Disney’s collaboration with Mini Babybel provides appealing, on-the-go snack options for millions of families enjoying Disney’s U.S. parks and cruise ships each day. Both brands focus on fun and aim to surprise and delight their audiences; Mini Babybel with its delicious cheese and playful personality, and Disney Parks with magical moments that create lasting memories.
“At Bel Brands USA, we are all about sharing smiles and we are delighted to bring that to life through our alliance with Disney,” said Francis Perrin, chief marketing officer of Bel Brands USA, makers of Mini Babybel cheese. “We believe Mini Babybel makes snack time an adventure in deliciousness for the whole family every day and now we can share that fun and great taste with even more families as they enjoy adventures of their own at Disney Parks.”
Set to open in the summer of 2018, Toy Story Land will invite guests to step into the whimsical world of Pixar Animation Studios’ blockbuster films where playtime stretches longer than a Slinky® Dog. Guests will feel like they’ve shrunk to the size of a toy as they play in Andy’s backyard with their favorite Toy Story pals.
“We can’t wait for our guests to experience Toy Story Land, and the new quick-service window located within the land will surely delight hungry toys and people alike,” said Carlos Castro, vice president of Disney Corporate Alliances. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Mini Babybel and introduce additional snack offerings in Toy Story Land and throughout Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.”
Mini Babybel is 100% real cheese with a rich and creamy taste enjoyed by cheese lovers of all ages. Each round delivers at least four grams of protein, 15 percent of an individual’s daily calcium needs, and is playfully portable for lunchtime, snack time or anytime.

Today, Disney has shared some exciting news regarding Toy Story Land which is set to open next year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A new quick-service restaurant called Woody’s Lunch Box will serve up tasty meals and old fashioned floats.
According to Disney, guests will shrink to the size of a toy and explore all of the fun (and toys!) Andy has constructed in his backyard. This story continues at Woody’s Lunch Box, where Andy has used his lunch box and thermos to create a walk-up quick-service window that will serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats. In the rendering above, you can see that Woody’s Lunch Box – like the rest of Toy Story Land – has been adorably strewn about with some of Andy’s favorite toys and items from his lunch. You can even spot a green army man on a nearby lookout tower, keeping watch for Andy’s return.
The Walt Disney World Resort will partner with Mini Babybel to bring this location to life. Stay tuned for more information and menu items coming soon!
Toy Story Land is scheduled to open in summer 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
