NEW LEGO ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ MINILAND Display Coming to LEGOLAND Florida Resort in 2018

As Star Wars fans celebrate Star Wars Day today, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is celebrating by  announcing a brand new Star Wars experience coming to its theme park in 2018.  Next year, the LEGO Star Wars MINILAND area will welcome an all-new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” inspired display.

The new model display will feature iconic scenes from the film recreated from thousands of LEGO bricks.  Expect to see memorable movie moments with Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren and BB-8, enhanced with lights, sound effects and animation.

And don’t forget, LEGO Star Wars Days is taking place this weekend, May 6-7 and next weekend, May 13 and 14.

During this event, kids can explore some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars saga made out of 1.5 million LEGO bricks, including detailed displays inspired by the first six blockbuster films, plus life-size LEGO models of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and R2-D2.

Kids also can:

  • Create a giant LEGO® Star Wars mural, brick by brick
  • Build their own LEGO® Star Warsmodel
  • Search for LEGO droids throughout MINILAND USA
  • Learn tips and tricks from our LEGO Master Model Builders
  • Build the world’s largest LEGO Yoda model

  • Dress up as their favorite LEGO® Star Wars character and participate in our intergalactic costume parade (ages 12 and under)
