Campfires Suspended at Walt Disney World Resort Due to Dry Conditions

As you may know, the Orlando area has been experiencing some very dry weather and several brush fires have occurred throughout central Florida.

Because of these conditions, Orange County has restricted campfires and Walt Disney World has suspended all outdoor campfires at their resorts. The use of charcoal grills are also prohibited, however propane grills are permitted.

The following statement was posted on Disney’s website: Due to dry conditions, there are currently fire restrictions throughout Central Florida. As a result, campfires at our Resort hotels will not take place as scheduled. Other recreation activities will continue to be held.
